GEM Camp

GEM camp concluded yesterday. I hope everyone present had a great time! Our next practice won't be until the 28th of December. Meanwhile, everyone should have their own regular practices at home. :)

Concert updates: Those interested in designing the ticket should keep in mind that the theme of our concert is ROMANTIC and that a NAME HERE would suffice in your design since our concert's name is not yet confirmed. Please e-mail your designs to me (Cheryl) by the 16th of December!

Enough said. Here are some pictures from the camp!

Playing our very first game, Polar Bear.

Guess the hand!

Here's us practising diligently after lunch. :D

Zombies!

A group photo we took with the JC2s who came down. At this point in time, we didn't realize that some of us had been 'kidnapped'!

Kidnappees!

The 2nd day of the camp was Camy's birthday and here's her surprise!

After lunch and before the great dress-up game was free and easy time so we had a game of truth or dare.

The dressing-up process...

Romantic dress-up. Haha!

The models!

That's all, have a great holiday!

Jeremy Monteiro & T'ang Quartet
Posted Monday, June 1, 2009 @ 10:58 PM
Hey, on the 29th of May, a bunch of us J1 & J2 GEM members went to watch Jeremy Monteiro & the T'ang Quartet at the Esplanade! I think it was money well-spent despite a few less interesting parts of the concert (I spotted a few people yawning, even I was also guilty of doing so). x)

All in all, here are 2 valuable points that I think we should pick up from the performers:
  • Do not be afraid to sway your body according to the music. I think you'll be better able to feel the music & hence play better! :)
  • Do not let distractions get in your way whenever you are performing. The same goes for when you are rehearsing/practising!
Enough of words, now let's move on to pictures. :) The rest can be found at GEM's Photobucket album.

Group photo taken outside the Esplanade before the concert.

Some of the guys. Isn't it obvious how some of them have very intimate relationships? Haha. xD

29th of May was also King's birthday!

We had him blindfolded before leading him to the rooftop for a mini surprise.

That's all for now. I hope that today's GP exam was a breeze to everybody. Study hard for the MYE!
